Grace, Holiness, and Love
It is always on the side of the truth
A Christian is in Christ. He hates what God hates. He loves what God loves. The GRACE of God makes him hate sin. He lives in the righteousness of Christ. Sin has no attraction to him. All he seeks to do is to please God with his life. He is a citizen of heaven and therefore thinks, talks, and acts as a citizen of heaven.
Fleshly desires have no appeal to him. Whatever he does, he asks himself if it pleases his Lord and Master. He lives to please God, but not himself. If anyone lives to please himself and claims to be a Christian, the one is a great LIAR.
The works of the flesh always war against the works of the Spirit of God. The Christian is in Christ and Christ is in him. He can therefore not do anything that is contrary to the character and nature of God.
God is love so those who claim to know Him must live in love. And love abhors anything that is sinful. Righteousness and holiness are the hallmarks of love. Love seeks the welfare of the other but not self.
Anyone who lives in self does not love. Love always seeks the interest of the other. Love is holy. Love is righteous. Love is is selfless. Love does not support wrongdoing. Love is sinless. It hates sin. It is always on the side of the truth.
