I urged the students to stay resolute and dedicated to the party, proclaiming, “With determination, we will rise again together.”
“I joined the National Chairman, Stephen Ayensu Ntim, to engage members of the UCC Friday Club, TESCON executives, and pro-NPP student leaders at the University of Cape Coast as part of the Rebuilding The Base Tour. This initiative is aimed at reenergizing our intellectual base and strategizing on how to recapture lost parliamentary seats, especially those influenced by the UCC community.
Our team included key party figures such as the Director of Finance and Administration, Dr. William Yamoah; Central Regional Youth Organizer, Kenneth Quansah; Central Regional Secretary, Takyi Mensah; Central Regional Treasurer, Francis Asare; Deputy General Secretary, Haruna Mohammad; National Youth Organizer, Salam Mustapha; Deputy National Youth Organizer, Jay Hyde; Deputy National Organizer, Kwayagya; Cape Coast North Chairman, Stephen Arhin; TESCON Patron, Dr. Justice Addo; and Deputy Communications Director, George Krobea Asante.
During the meeting, I highlighted the upcoming NPP School, which will provide mentorship programs for TESCON and student leaders, preparing them for future leadership roles within the party. I also announced plans to make the TESCON membership card accessible to all interested students, a move designed to enhance participation on campus.
Furthermore, I emphasized our party’s commitment to integrating TESCON members into mainstream communication teams, making membership more attractive while bridging the gap between TESCON and the party’s core structures.
In my closing remarks, I encouraged the students to remain steadfast and committed to the party, declaring, ‘Together with determination, we shall rise again.’”
