H.E. Charles Abani, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ghana, recently visited former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at his residence in Accra. Dr Bawumia shared the details of the visit on his social media platform.

“This morning, I welcomed a delegation led by H.E. Charles Abani, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ghana, to my residence.
H.E. Abani, delivered a message on behalf of the United Nations, expressing appreciation for my contributions to Ghana’s peace, democracy and development. H.E. Charles Abani particularly highlighted my vision and initiatives for Ghana’s digital economic transformation I championed as Vice-President and my early concession in the 2024 elections.
I reiterated my conviction that, as Politicians, national interest must always supersede personal ambition.
