The President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama, has established a five-member team to fulfill his promise of recovering proceeds from corruption and holding those responsible accountable.
The team has Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah as Chairman. Other members are: Mr Daniel Domelovo, former Auditor-General; COP (Rtd) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye; Mr Martin Kpebu, Private Legal Practitioner; and, Mr Raymond Archer, Investigative Journalist.
According to a press statement from the Office of Mahama Transitional Team dated December 18, 2024, “Anti-corruption, with Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) as a major plank, formed a core part of John Mahama’s policy platform in the 2024 campaign and he intends to hit the ground running on these commitments.”
