The Friends of Bawumia (FOB) paid a courtesy call on Dr Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB) at his residence on Monday, November 16, 2024, to commiserate with him following the party’s loss in the December 7 elections.
The delegation, led by the National Executives and including all Regional Executives, reaffirmed their unwavering support for Dr Bawumia during this challenging time.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the difficulties that contributed to the party’s abysmal electoral performance. Dr Bawumia expressed deep gratitude to the FOB delegation for their steadfast dedication and hard work throughout the campaign. While acknowledging the disappointment, he stressed the importance of introspection, learning from the setback, and working together to rebuild a stronger and more resilient party.
In response to concerns raised during the meeting, the Party leadership assured the group that immediate measures would be taken to investigate the factors behind the poor performance. This assurance instilled a renewed sense of hope and determination for the future.
