“The wind of limitless possibilities, grounded on a foundation of a bold new vision for national development, continues to blow ever stronger.”
The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, continued his nationwide constituency-focused campaign in the Krachi East, Krachi Nchumuru and Krachi West Constituencies in the Oti Region.
Dr Bawumia shared his vision to transform, modernize, and create a more holistically prosperous Ghana.
Key policies in his agenda include the integration of technology into the agricultural value chain and the establishment of District Agric Mechanization Centres across the country. He also proposes a tax amnesty and aims to harness solar and wind power to complement Ghana’s current energy sources, alongside a zero-duty policy on solar panel imports.
Other initiatives include free tertiary education for persons with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, and a plan to reposition Ghana’s education system with a focus on STEM and AI. His vision includes providing “one student, one laptop” for tertiary students and simplifying passport acquisition through the GhanaCard.
Additionally, he has outlined plans to train 1,000,000 youth, establish the Ghana Sports Secretariat, introduce a credit score system, and implement various other measures to support Ghana’s next chapter.
According to him, “the wind of limitless possibilities, grounded on a foundation of a bold new vision for national development, continues to blow ever stronger. The Chiefs and people of Oti Region are ready.”
The NPP Flagbearer expressed his gratitude to the people for their warm welcome and appealed to them to translate it to massive votes for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates on December 7.
