Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, the Paramount Chief of the Goaso Traditional Area, has gone to the land of the ancestors – passed away.
The announcement was made by Otumfuo Kyeame Antwi Boasiako during the Asanteman Council meeting on December 16, 2024.
Known for his outspoken nature, Nana Bosomprah was a vocal critic of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government and state institutions like the Electoral Commission of Ghana. He was installed as the paramount chief of Goaso in 2008.
His death has left a void in the traditional leadership of the Goaso Traditional Area, and the process of selecting a successor is expected to commence.
