“This is a big step in my career and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”
Asante Kotoko, aka the Porcupine Warriors, have added steel to their midfield with the signing of 23-year-old Seth Kwadwo on a four-year contract. The deal was sealed after the former Bechem United star successfully passed his medical.
Kwadwo, who racked up 72 league appearances in recent seasons, is known for his grit, discipline, and relentless energy in the middle of the park. He began his rise at Asokwa Deportivo, quickly earning a reputation as a no-nonsense midfielder with a sharp tactical mind and tireless work ethic.
The move comes at a crucial time for the Porcupine Warriors, who are looking to fill the void left by the injury to Andrews Ntim Manu. With the CAF Confederation Cup campaign looming, Kwadwo’s arrival adds much-needed depth and balance to Kotoko’s engine room.
Speaking to the media, Kwadwo shared his excitement:
“This is a big step in my career and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I spoke with Aziz and Francis before joining, and they had nothing but praise for the club. That really boosted my confidence. I’m ready to give everything to help the team win.”
With this signing, Kotoko are sending a clear message: they are not just building a squad, they are building a team ready to compete on all fronts.
