In Southern Lebanon, beneath the quiet sky,
Where blue helmets stand, and silent mountains lie,
A missile tore through steel and wood alike,
And our mess, our home, was set alight.
The prefabricated walls, once a place of rest,
Now smoldered in fire, put to a cruel test.
Brothers in arms, struck with pain and fear,
Yet duty held strong, their mission clear.
Evacuated to bunkers, under war’s grim hand,
Still guarding the peace in that troubled land.
Casualties many, of varying degrees,
Yet courage persisted through smoke and debris.
Ghana stands proud, her soldiers brave,
In UN’s service, the world to save.
Though flames may burn and rockets roar,
Our honour remains, forevermore.
Let the world see the price we pay,
For peace we guard, come what may.
From mess to bunker, under fire’s light,
Ghana’s blue helmets hold through the night.
