Their impressive track record is a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
The Prempeh College Robotics Team has developed two systems for the college, one of many enviable achievements marking the College’s 75th anniversary.
They are a Water Management System and an Attendance Monitoring System.
The Water Management System is designed to prevent water wastage on campus by automatically turning off taps when they’re not in use. It can even detect when a bucket is full and shut off the tap to avoid overflow.
The highly innovative Attendance Monitoring System uses custom-built Bluetooth fingerprint sensors and a mobile app to track the attendance of both teachers and students, ensuring an efficient and accurate monitoring process.
Aside from putting the College in particular and Ghana in general on the world map for its sterling performance in the field of robotics, the Team is conducting several research projects to enhance the comfort of life within the College.
