The drivers urged former President Mahama and the NDC to prioritize the total health and well-being of all Ghanaians.
The Alliance of Drivers Ghana has accused the NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, of being behind the organized labour union strike.
According to the drivers, they have evidence to show that the NDC and John Mahama are behind the galamsey strikes.
“How many of our labour union members calling for a nationwide strike have visited the areas in Ghana severely affected by galamsey?,” the drivers asked the union leaders in a press release.
The drivers stated in their press release dated October 3, 2024, “It is reckless and selfish to ask us to stay home because of someone’s political agenda.”
The Alliance of Drivers Ghana, who accuse the organized labour leaders of underhand dealings with the NDC, urged former President Mahama and the NDC to prioritize the total health and well-being of all Ghanaians.

John Dramani Mahama behind the organize labour onions strike
The Alliance of Drivers Ghana has sighted publications in some of journalist and we have evidence to show that, Ndc and John Dramani Mahama are behind the galemsey news.
We are struggling to understand what the lack of response is since we have not seen any scheduled meeting or invitations to leaders of other unions
How many of our labour union members calling for a Nationwide Strike have actually visited the areas in Ghana severely affected by galemsey?
Asking us to go and stay at home because of someone political agenda is very reckless and selfish
We therefore call on our organised labour and TUC to return the 400,000 Ghana cedis to NDC.
The Alliance of Drivers Ghana still remembers and in fact in the state of shock of Mr Mahama’s comments made about ongoing galamsey destruction. Our lands are being destroyed, our water bodies and our forests are being destroyed.
Alliance of Drivers call on former president Mahama and ndc to think about the total health being of all Ghanaians.
