The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the official release of the 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results. In a circular signed by Dr Munawaru Issahaque, Acting Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access, all Regional Directors of Education have been instructed to ensure immediate dissemination of this information to District Directors and Heads of Schools.
According to the directive, the admission of students is to strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat. Schools have been cautioned against admitting students outside the official placement without prior written approval from GES. Any unauthorised admissions, the Service emphasised, will attract administrative sanctions.
Placed students are expected to report to their designated schools beginning 18th October 2025. Heads of Schools have been urged to ensure smooth registration processes in accordance with the guidelines provided. Furthermore, Regional and District Directors have been tasked to provide supervisory support and monitor compliance throughout the admission period.
The GES underscored that these measures are aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness in the 2025 academic year admissions. “The Service counts on your cooperation to ensure a transparent and successful admission process,” the circular noted.
