Dr Bawumia is a very unique and special being. His humility, respect, kindness, compassion, name them, are just unmatched.
- H. E. Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has a clear mind as to what to do when given the mandate. He is ready to receive the steer to steer the affairs of the country. Dr Bawumia doesn’t need any honeymoon to think about what to do for Ghana. He knows how to start and where he is sending Ghana to.
- Dr Bawumia is not corrupt and has never been investigated for any corruption related issues. When they mention the word corruption, Dr Bawumia doesn’t shake. He is clear in his mind how to fight corruption. Removing human interference in service delivery largely prevents corruption. We all know how Ghana is able to save millions of Ghana Cedis through digitalization at the ports, SSNIT, NSS, Controller And Accountant General’s Department, NHIA, among others.
- Dr Bawumia has served his boss well and his boss is proud of him. His boss has high hope and confidence in him and he is very comfortable handing over to him. His boss knows his worth. His boss has never thought of setting up a committee to investigate him. Dr Bawumia is incorruptible, competent, affable, development-oriented and very credible with high integrity.
- Unarguably, Dr Bawumia is the most impactful Vice President ever in the history of the Fourth Republic. As a Vice President, he is not a mere social gathering attendee but an active contributor to this government. As a Vice President, he can boast of not less than 33 policies that have been implemented so far in this government and they are entirely his ideas.
- What has also separated Dr Bawumia from others is that, his decision-making ability is on point. He does not have any decision-making problems at all. When it is critical, expect him to make good decisions for the nation. It is not surprising that during the COVID-19 pandemic, his solid and decisive contributions towards the fight were proudly acknowledged by his boss, President Nana Akufo-Addo.
- Dr Bawumia has proven on many occasions that he is a generational thinker, innovative and a problem solver as one of his inspiring slogans states “To Lead Is To Solve”. Dr Bawumia does not wonder in despair about what to do when confronted with a problem. He is always challenged to do something special and that makes him bring out many innovative ideas to solving everyday problems. Talk of introduction of electric buses (new addition), solar-powered outboard motors (piloting ongoing – new addition), credit scoring system (new addition), registration and renewal of NHIS Card online, gold for oil program, gold purchase program, among others.
- Let me quote President Nana Akufo-Addo – “I don’t drink alcohol. Everybody who knows me knows that I don’t drink alcohol”. Everybody knows that Dr Bawumia does not drink alcohol. Apology to those who take alcohol. Dr Bawumia is not a drunkard and it is open knowledge.

- It is also known publicly that Dr Bawumia does not insult Ghanaians who criticize him. He has been insulted largely by the opposition members but he remains focused and unperturbed about their vilification. Some candidates are noted for using unprintable words like stupid, silly, baloney, etc. against pastors, chiefs, imans, civil society organizations and Ghanaians in general but Dr. Bawumia respects opposing views of Ghanaians.
- Undoubtedly, Dr Bawumia has a reputation locally and internationally. He represents Ghana at every international occasion with his chest high. That is the unblemished Dr Bawumia with bold solutions for the future of Ghana. Expect him to negotiate better deals for Ghana internationally. With the workaholic Hon. Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as his Vice President and the versatile Hon. Dr Mohammed Amin Adam as Finance Minister, Ghana is bound for prosperity and greatness.
