
Hanifa Hamdan, the daughter of a single mother, scored seven As out of eight subjects at the West African School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) from the local Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School.
The Chief of the Ejura Traditional Area, Barima Osei Hwedie II, has generously donated GH¢6,000 to Hanifa Hamdan, a bright student in need of financial assistance, to support her law studies at the Ghana School of Law in Makola.
This contribution is part of an ongoing initiative by the Ejura Traditional Council, under the Ejurahene aimed at improving access to quality education for young people in Ejura.
Hanifa, who earned her first degree from Kwame Nkrumah University Science Technology (KNUST) and is now a first-year student at the Ghana School of Law’s professional postgraduate program, received the donation through Alhaji Abdul Kadir, the Liaison Officer for Ejurahene.
Alhaji Kadir noted that Barimah Osei Hwedie II has committed to supporting Hanifa throughout her studies to alleviate her family’s financial burden.
In response, Hanifa expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief and promised to work diligently toward her goal of becoming a professional lawyer.
