The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, is in the Western North Region this week with his “Bold Solutions” constituency-focused vote-winning messages.
He is expected to tour Sefwi Wiaso, Bibiani, Akontobra, Sefwi Bekwai, and Sefwi Anhwiaso Constituencies on Sept 30, 2024.
On October 1, 2024, Dr Bawumia, Ghana’s Vice President, will take his campaign messages to Juaboso, Bia West and Bia East Constituencies.
The tour takes him to Suaman, Aowin, and Bodi Constituencies on Oct 2, 2024.
Last week, the NPP Flagbearer was in the Western Region and parts of the Central Region.
At Ellembelle, Jomoro, and Ahanta West Constituencies Dr. Bawumia on Friday, Sept 27, 2024, Dr. Bawumia touched on policies for Ghana’s next chapter including “tax amnesty, harnessing the sun and wind to generate energy to support Ghana’s current source of energy, zero duty on the importation of solar panels, free tertiary education for persons living with disabilities, expansion of educational infrastructure, reposition Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students”
The NPP Flagbearer also dwelt on easy acquisition of passports with the Ghana Card, training of 1,000,000 youth, establishing the Ghana Sports Secretariat, credit score system, and other game-changing policies.
He has also urged them to play active roles in deciding Ghana’s next chapter by voting massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidates in their respective constituencies in the December 7 polls.
On Saturday, Sept 28, 2024, Dr Bawumia was at Prestea Huni Valley, Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, and Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituencies where he commissioned the Tarkwa Nsuaem Government Hospital and the Bonsa 1D1F Project at Bonsa.
Continuing his campaign in the Mpohor, Wassa East, and Shama Constituencies on Thursday, Sept 26, 2024, the NPP Flagbearer called on the people to help determine Ghana’s way forward by voting him and the NPP into power on December 7.
Speaking during his tour of Assin North, Upper Denkyira West, and Upper Denkyira East in the Central Region, on Wednesday, Sept 25, 2024, Dr Bawumia expressed the hope that “as December 7 edges closer, I am increasingly convinced that together, with the oneness of thought and deed, it is possible to position Ghana for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and beyond”.
