“The NPP has what it takes to make all Ghanaians proud as people”.
A grassroots-based volunteer group has been launched in the Ashanti Region to embark on an effective membership mobilisation drive for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The group, christened Bawumia Volunteers, 2024 (B24), was out-doored on Friday, September 27, 2024. The over three thousand volunteers were tasked to lead the crusade to break the eight.
Under the leadership of the Minister of Education, Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum, the B24 is mandated by the NPP to harmonise identifiable groups across the country to ensure a united and well-coordinated campaign.
Speaking at the occasion, the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, urged the volunteers not to descend into the gutters with the NDC as the NPP has enough policies to break down the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their propaganda.
According to Chairman Wontumi, the NDC, despite their lack of message, was hopeful that the 2024 election is theirs; hence the need for NPP members especially, B24, to set a pace that will daze John Mahama and the NDC.
The NPP Regional Campaign Manager urged the youth as a matter of urgency to safeguard their future under the presidency of Dr. Bawumia since the NPP has what it takes to make all Ghanaians proud as people.
On his part, the B24 National Coordinator and Chairman, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, advised the volunteers not to relent in their resolve to work for the party; stressing the need for party faithfuls to work together to ensure victory on December 7, 2024.
At the launch were the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah; party officials, chief executive officers (CEOs), and, members of parliament (MPs).
